Government of Sindh Issued a Notification Regarding Public Holiday on 27-12-2023 (Wednesdary) throughout the province of Sindh on the occasion of Shahdat of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed for all offices, Autonomous, Semi- Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the administrative control of Government of Sindh, except the essential service.
The assassination took place on 27 th December 2007 as Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the former Prime minister of Pakistan, was shot dead in a terrorist attack that occurred during an election rally in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Her demise played a major, sad chapter in the pages of the history of Pakistan. The date of her martyrdom, December 27, will be remembered and observed by the MFB group and the Pakistani people.
