The Chief Minister of Sindh has written a letter to all the commissioners and instructed that the Chief Minister of Sindh has visited some hospitals, police stations, sub-registrar offices etc. and has expressed complete dissatisfaction with the speed and quality of service. . . And requested the Deputy Commissioner to immediately inspect the work of the offices of the Education Department, Health and Public Health Engineering Department at the sub-divisional, district and divisional levels and establish a strong mechanism to improve quality. Public service and governance, and holding public officials accountable.
The Chief Minister of Sindh directed that inspection teams consisting of officials from the district administration, education, health and public health engineering departments should be formed to conduct inspections on a weekly basis without fail and submit inspection reports on the prescribed proforma (attached). The Chief Minister of Sindh directed through the offices of the Chief Minister Secretariat/House concerned commissioners that these inspections should be started from Monday 25 September 2023 in a positive manner.

Weekly inspections can help identify problems, track progress, and ensure that decisions made at higher levels are being effectively implemented at lower levels. Accountability mechanisms such as reporting and oversight are also crucial for good governance.
