The Caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh Justice (Rtd) Maqbool Baqir has directed the School Education Department to provide a report to me within 7 days by ensuring free education to 10% poor/backward children in all private schools of the province as per the law.
The Chief Minister of Education said in a letter to Sindh that according to Chapter 4 Section 10 of the Report of Children and Completion of Free Education 2013, the total rate of private school (E) admissions was 10 cases of free education. (b) which is bound to offer free education from the first class to the previous and 10th class.
The caretaker chief minister said that the administration of private schools was continuously violating the law. Taking serious notice of the situation, the caretaker chief minister directed the school education department to implement 10% free education in all private schools of the province. . The Chief Minister warned that strict legal action will be taken against the school administration responsible for not implementing the said policy or negligence.
