BAN ON DECEASED QUOTA

A letter issued by Service General Adminstration Sindh Regarding Clarification of Ban on Appointment against deceased quota mentioned in letter "guidelines for caretaker Government conveyed by the Election Commission of Pakistan vide notification dated 15.08.2023 regarding ban on appointment are applicable on all kinds of appointments including deceased quota"

A ban on appointments during a caretaker government period is often implemented to maintain the status quo and ensure that significant changes or political influence aren't exerted before an election. Caretaker governments are typically responsible for overseeing the administration of government in the run-up to an election, and their primary purpose is to ensure a fair and impartial electoral process. Therefore, they might restrict new appointments, policy changes, or major decisions to prevent any potential bias or advantage for a particular political party. This practice varies by country and is subject to their respective laws and regulations.
